Mark’s Trip to the UK, Top of the William Wallace Monument
Mark’s Trip to the UK We visited the William Wallace monument in Stirling, Scotland while we were on vacation in May of 2007. William Wallace was portrayed by Mel Gibson in the movie Braveheart, which is a glorified account of his story for sure… but the monument is amazing in every way. For one thing it is friggin’ huge. They even sell the DVD there. It was too windy to be comfortable in that thing, what a sight though. After we enjoyed a Scotch whisky and beer.
